@WoodiE I finally got around to posting my hybrid 3S project.

This started out as a v! Granite mega, but, by sourcing parts from Jenny's RC, i have now built a LWB truggy, using parts from a Granite, Senton, Typhon, BRCC, and Vorteks. The diffs, shafts, shocks, shock mounts, and slipper are all the original Granite parts, for now. The wing and body mounts are from a Typhon, the bumpers and wheelie bar are from a BRCC, the chassis and driveshaft are from a Senton, and the wheels and tires are from the Vorteks. This was the first thing i changed on it initially. I put the BRCC black chrome bumpers and Granite wheelie bar on it.

This is a long term, evolving as i go project. Ill try something on it, and then if it doesn't work, like when i had the HW 10BL60 paired with a GoolRC 3660 3800KV motor, i will change and adapt as it goes. Currently it has a Castle Sidewinder motor and BLX100 ESC, but, my plan is to eventually swap in a 3660 3300KV motor. Future plans include a 32P spur, 3S diffs and inputs, and possibly the adjustable motor mount. Due to weather restrictions (it is currently 15 degrees F, and tonight will be somewhere around -3), and its been that way for almost two weeks, i haven't ran it yet in its current configuration. Its supposed to warm up mid week, so, if it does, i plan on running it then if i get time. I still also haven't decided what body i want to put on it. I was leaning towards the BRCC black body, or similar, but, i also like the look of an SCT body, so i might do one of each to see how it looks.

Every winter i get stuck inside for a few weeks, so, i will pick one of my trucks, and make it into a project. This one, however, has actually been a very stretched out, two year, upgrade and change as it breaks, swap until i like it, project. It started out as a Granite MT, but then i realized im not a big fan of MT's, so, instead of leaving it an MT, i decided to turn it into an SCT/buggy hybrid. In hindsight though, i should have just bought a BRCC, put the Typhon wing and Vorteks wheels and tires on it, and been done with it.

Damn, that's quite a while, but it's always fun to finally complete a project. Especially one that takes that long. Nice job!

Its still not complete. My GF says this truck is going to be my never ending project LOL.

I stuck an old MT body i had laying around on it, just to see what it looks like. Even though this is for the SWB trucks, and was the body that was on it when it was still the Granite, i kind of like the way it looks on it. If i stick with this style body, i am going to replace the side guards with the BRCC ones, and remove the Senton nerf bars.

That's what's cool about these Arrma vehicles. They're pretty modular so you can just swap a lot of the part to build whatever you like!
