The 4985 1650 motor is rated for 6s use maximum, the 1100 and 800kv motors are rated for 8s but then you’re moving to a larger 56mm can. What ESC are you using? That would have to be rated for 8s as well, of course. I believe the 4985 would run crazy fast on 8s just before it fries.Has any used this on 8s and what are the temps and if you use it on 8s all the time what heatsink do you use
Are you using a heatsink and fans and if you are qhat ones are theyIf you replace the HW 4985 bearings with better quality ceramic ones it will survive 8s.
Been running one on nothing but 8s for 2-1/2 years now and never a single issue.
Also what bearings are you using I can't find anyIf you replace the HW 4985 bearings with better quality ceramic ones it will survive 8s.
