Lets say you wanted to put a motor in an RC but the motor mount that screws to the end cap of the motor is 3mm but the motor actually needs 4mm. Is there a way to widen the holes on the motor mount?

It's only the motor mount that needs to be increased in size, not the actual holes on the motor
The screws don't thread through the mount they just slide right through is that helps?
4mm drill bit.

So ya, run the drill bit in one end of the slot and drag the bit through the slot slowly with even pressure.. make sure the mount is secured in something like a vice or similar... if your good with a dremel tool you can do it that way as well... just mark the mount with a dial caliper or something on each side so you know where to stop dragging the slot down or up to...
