I would use a little bit of grease on the tap to catch the shavings while tapping the threads?then bow out the hole with air?Be very careful how deep you drill and where the shavings go.
4mm drill bit.It's only the motor mount that needs to be increased in size, not the actual holes on the motor
The screws don't thread through the mount they just slide right through is that helps?

Lets say you wanted to put a motor in an RC but the motor mount that screws to the end cap of the motor is 3mm but the motor actually needs 4mm. Is there a way to widen the holes on the motor mount?
