Kraton 4s geared up

Any advantages to gearing up on 4s vs running 6s on the stock pinion. My dad is just running 4s on the stock 2018 blx system. Any one have experience with this temp. Handling etc.

I ran 4s with the 15 tooth pinion, no fans on a v5. Ran almost exclusively on grass and never had any heat issues. Granted most days it was only around 75 outside

Sounds good we will start with 16t. He has fans and we will check temps. Just got a pack 15, 16, 17, 18 tooth pinions. They were cheap Amazon pinions . If they don’t hold up at least we will know which work out the best.
