My battery is not charging to capacity. Could this be a bad battery? Truthfully I do not discharge my battery and I am not sure if my charge has a storage charge.

Lectron pro, this was my starter battery and charger

Looking at the manual for your charger, it does have a storage charge option. Another thing to keep in mind is that the full capacity of the battery is taken from the battery being 100% fully drained. So if you only run the battery down to 3.6 volts per cell and then charge it or charge it from storage level, you will never hit the stated capacity of the battery.

Have you checked to make sure all cells are at 4.2V after you charge? Assuming you are balance charging, if any are lower you have a damaged/ dead cell.

There are a few videos on the YouTube showing how to use that charger. Now that you have some experience with it, maybe watch those and pound that manual. Keep in mind youtubers aren't ALL geniuses so take that info with a grain of salt... Other than that what @chevys10zr2003 said is true. 5200 is full capacity which you aren't draining.

Ok I will check after I use the battery up.

Ok here's the results, maybe I do have a dead call in the battery

BASING not BASHING lol, He means what are you basing your assumption that you not putting 5000 mah back into it?
Because once the battery is done charging the numbers are no where near 5200mah. I understand it may not get to that capaxtiy but 4300mah from a 5200mah battery is a bit off putting.....

This. I've never even looked at how many mAh I've put back into a battery. When the charger says it's done I look to see if each cell is at 4.2v. That's it. The picture he posted shows a fully charged 2s battery, lol.

Where are you getting the 4300 mAh number from?

4300 into a 5200 puts it around 80% sounds right to me? but like I and everyone else has repeatedly said.. 4.2V and your fine its charged as much as its able to charge.. Volts or nada!

I think what Brewcity is trying to say that when he runs his pack down to LVC and goes to charge it only puts back in 4300mah when stated capacity is 5200mah a 900mah difference is pretty big even if he has a high LVC and might be thinking he should be getting more runtime if he had something charged close to 5200mah but I might be wrong. . I would do a discharge cycle on the battery charger then do a balance charge and see what the charger says it puts back in it.

Also I use this Tenergy cell meter https://www.amazon.com/Tenergy-Batt...1546812064&sr=8-1&keywords=tenergy+cell+meter not super accurate (close enough for me) but tells me the cells percentage wise of capacity of each cells use is. Tells the IR of each cell also among other things.
