5690 6s gearing

Hey guys I have an Outcast EXB and I have the 5690 Max 6 combo. Yes I got the 1250kv on purpose but I am struggling on the gearing. I was thinking 26t pinion and keeping the stck mount for now? I will be running 6s for now. No 8s.

I ran a similar KV originally on my Mojave and it needed a 30T to wake it up, for that though I used a PPS motor mount

To bad it cost so much to ship to you.i got a good enough for bashing pps I'd give ya..what's tire size I assume 4.3 diffs...6s an what top speed ya want it to reach an I'll guestamate a good gearing with my usely very accurate calculator

Yeah 26T on 6S sounds about right. It should be close to 70mph.

You can’t use the stock mount with that motor though.

56 series mount won’t work either?

My calculator says a 1650kv motor with a 20t pinion and a 1250kv motor with a 26.4t pinion will have the same top speed. The formula is far from perfect, but it's good enough for establishing a starting place.

I’m not 100% but I don’t think so. I believe you’d need the whole Lim V2 motor mount plus the 56mm mounting plate for it. I don’t think the 56mm plate fits the stock Outcast motor mount.

I have a kraton exb v2 with max 6 5690.6s I run 22. Tooth pinion more than enough 60+ mph punch set to 7 I also run m2c everywhere center diff 1 million rear 200k front 100k all metal diff cases

I really appreciate it. Currently I have a 28t in there and I’m thinking it might be too large. I haven’t gone on a full bash yet. I can easily check motor temps through the app. What motor mount are you using and what centre diff? I’m using the limitless mount so 28 is the smallest I can go with a 57t diff

I just did some calculations and top speed is almost exactly 60mph so I don’t think I should have issues but I’ll be checking as I go

Running a M2C motor mount and center diff carrier all stock diffs 100k/1MK/200k stock spur. I can't even imagine a 28t. I ran a 19 at first and it was so much torque It was uncontrollable I think I will stick with 22t for winter months if it runs to hot in summer will drop to 21 or 20. I also would highly recommend Sagacustomrc gears they are wonderful
