Just saw the 6S EXB is now discontinued? Any news on this?

Been wanting to grab one.

The kraton isn't going anywhere. The versions will just change as they update.

Kind of annoying the way they discontinue/ update for arrma though. I can't see it being a great business model to often show your vehicles discontinued.

Just bought mine and I haven’t even used it yet:oops: (flu and really crap weather) I’ve just put one hop-up on and I was going to re do the oil in the diffs and just go over everything to make sure it’s all fitted up correctly as I do the diffs and I’m waiting for the receiver from flysky with the gyro in it!……….and they’ve discontinued it:rolleyes: don’t suppose it makes any difference it’s still a superb truck!

We need a new live chat with Jason Dearden, we never understand the move from Arrma to launch new exicting product to stop produce them less than one year after, this is pure non sens et this is why people go for Traxxas.

The number one rule to keep your sanity as an Arrma owner, don't try to keep up with the latest & greatest. You'll drive yourself mad trying to do so. Pick the latest version you can afford at the moment, and just upgrade the critical bits and pieces as they release newer versions, or as you see fit. Unless it's a complete platform overhaul, over 90% of the parts will bolt onto the previous version.
I'm shocked the EXB V6 Kraton is discontinued already, seems like they just came out with it. But at the same time, nothing surprises me with Arrma anymore. 🤷‍♂️

Probably a light refresh to add clipless body mounding and whatever other little bits the V6 got that the EXB doesn’t have.
Personally I don't care :ROFLMAO: they're just going to update it to a clipless body etc and then raise the price again, we all know as Arrma users that whatever they do it will still need to be modded and upgraded ;)

Very early to discontinue it but the new 6S V6 models made it happen.
I don't think its a bad buy its just a little different and you can probably make it 100% V6 compatible soon with spare parts when needed.

They released the Kraton 8S EXB RTR V2 some months earlier but I don't think that one will be discontinued any time soon.

same hear not run mine yet but it don't matter :)

That's sort of why I get mostly Pre-owned rigs..
Won't have any negative feelings of Buyer's Remorse when the next day
a Brand New version gets released. 🙀

Especially when you know You'll be changing/replacing /Modding the stock parts off the rig anyways. 🧐

Me No Care.

Do a quick search for 'dumpster fire' on here ,to see & get a taste of what can be had.. 👻😁
🔥🍺👍

I've had a Kraton before (6S & 8S versions) - love em. Sold all my stuff a few years back and getting back into the hobby. I gotta shake the EXB tree and see if I can find one at a decent price.
