Oh, I know, just waiting to see if that dude has them on here for $599 or whatever.Amain still has the 6s exb in stock.
You mean @joostin420 ?Oh, I know, just waiting to see if that dude has them on here for $599 or whatever.
Correct, he said to stay tuned. I passed on the last batch because I was trying to move some gear out.You mean @joostin420 ?
K6, EXB. Sweet deal. Lucky I got one when I did.You mean @joostin420 ?
IDK, but it's not hard to believe that since the V6 BLX now has the EXB chassis, front bumper and diffs that they may indeed be killing off the EXB. The V6 BLX has the EXB bladderless shocks and EXB chrome turnbuckles as well. From what I can tell all that's really missing from the EXB is the aluminum chassis braces? Oh, and AVC, but for me I can't say it'll be missed. The AVC never seemed useful to me. Though I like the DX3 radio, it's decent, I just wish it had multi model capability like the TQi from TRX.

Knuckles?The new knuckles too.
That’s a big one. Forgot aboot that. Those alone justify the $100 price difference I suppose.Aluminum diff housings
Yep. The v6 got new knuckle assembly.Knuckles?
Ah, gotcha. Speaking of which, are the new ones adjustable? Gotta be, right?Yep. The v6 got new knuckle assembly.
Non adjustable. I purchased a set for a build.Ah, gotcha. Speaking of which, are the new ones adjustable? Gotta be, right?
Cool! So with the old setup the bushings were the”consumable”, I guess its the outter cap now?Non adjustable. I purchased a set for a build.

I guess so. Unless the aftermarket steps in with adjustable caps, shims, bushings, etc. Possibly aluminum caps.Cool! So with the old setup the bushings were the”consumable”, I guess its the outter cap now?
They could have designed this setup to use spacers/shims between the cap and hub, then as the caps wear you would remove spacer/shim to tighten things up. Though I must admit that with both of my v5 Arrma's being 3+ years old now, I still have yet to replace any bushings. Heck, I haven't even broken a hub I don't think. Maybe, I don't recall TBH. I don't really run them that hard, which is why I said I'd choose a V6 BLX for my use. Now that it has the larger diffs, I think it would hold up to years worth of my usage. Both of my 6s Arrma's are in pretty rough shape these days, I actually just had my first composite gearbox failure after 3+ years.. and even that was my own negligence I think. I haven't tore into it yet, but it appears that the input pinion bearing is gone. I can wiggle the front driveshaft quite a bit and see that the input cup is just wobbling about.. guess the clay/snow diet finally did it in, LOL.I guess so. Unless the aftermarket steps in with adjustable caps, shims, bushings, etc. Possibly aluminum caps.
I don't think there is a predictable timeline TBH. Arrma seems to be all over the board on this stuff from what I've seen over the last 4/5 years. I don't expect the EXB will be missing for long, especially if they're just making minor tweaks such as clipless body and updated hubs/knuckles. Regardless, if you have a V2 EXB already you're not missing much if anything IMO. You can buy the parts to update yours. Go to Jenny's and snatch up one of those "Miami Vice" limited edition bodies before they're gone! LOL.Can someone fill me in on how Arrma works with these updates and upgrades? Will a new exb come out soon? How long after models are discontinued do they get re-released? Also how long is their upgrade cycle? Maybe 1 year?
I just bought one of these exbs. Just finished installing my wheelie bar and flysky receiver. Haven’t even driven it yet. No regrets.
