Kraton 6s Kraton v6 New Firmware Availability

Yo! I have the EXB v2 6s Kraton and all this buzz about the new v6's firmware update got me excited.... Until I found that it's not available for the EXB v2. Has anyone heard anything official, one way or the other, if/when this awesome new firmware is going to be available to install on my EXB's Black Firma 150 esc?

B5.12. Supposedly in January sometime but that's just the jabber online. HH hasn't confirmed it. But B5.12 has been confirmed that's in the new V6 Kraton & Notorious only.

Probably notice a larger difference with a higher quality Lipo using the stock electronics/gearing.

Honestly if it makes the power even halfway closer to Castle's it'll be very exciting.

Have you run spektrum motor on Castle ESC? Is it even noticeable difference?

I'm curious/interested to try this firmware on my k6 exb v2 also if they will release it as an available update. I don't want to buy another esc just to do it though. Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't it just be different settings on the esc? Like punch, brake, etc?

I'm not sure one way or the other, but I see people saying despite running on the 16t pinion out of the box, the motor and esc are running significantly cooler than the EXB or v5 with the 16t pinion installed.

I haven't seen any objective temp testing comparing one model to the other/s. Just reviewers saying it's running cooler and kind of suggesting something in the new firmware is responsible. Sighting efficiency improvements etc. It's all conjecture though.
