Kraton 6s Upgraded to 4s??

Hey all, I brought a Kraton V1 and it running a Hobby wing XeRun XR8 Plus esc with Tekin T8 g2 2250kv on 4S, 16P/50S gears, 75kph. The Xr8 is 6s compatible but the Tekin T8 is only 4s recommended. So my question is why would some one pull the 6s system and install a 4s set-up??? Pros/Cons??

Because he ran it on 4s? Or ignored the 6s recommendation? He doesn't know what he's doing? Your guess is as good as anyones.

Looking at the 65000 max RPM spec for the motor, 6s will still be under that, so... I'd probably run it on 6s.

edit: some Googling confirms that people indeed run it on 6s!

edit 2: I don't see a sensor wire in there... both the motor and ESC are sensored!

Probably cuz the original esc and motor on the V1 Kraton were garbage. The esc’s were constantly catching fire. Maybe there were motor problems too.

Like I said, apparently some folks run it on 6s, and I would too. And buy a sensor wire if one isn't present. Sensored is smoooOOOoooth.
