I bought a few pinions. 1 27t from SAGACUSTMRC and several from an eBay vender based in China. I planned to try the cheap ones, find the size I like and get that size from Saga. However, the ones from China are pretty nice. Look how thick they are, mesh seems centered. We’ll see if they last. The Saga ones are a lot lighter but with this motor I doubt it maters. Here’s a few pics.
Saga is a 27t biggest cheap one is 35t. They come in many sizes...

Nice! Did you spray them all down with Lysol and let them sit under UV light for a while?

How cheap is cheap? The Saga pinions are roughly $20. How much are the Chinese ones?

The 40t is 6.30 and 2.30$ shipping. 44t is 6.89$ They all are a little different price. If you buy a couple the shipping is around the same as for one. Only took maybe 2 weeks to get here.

I’m not sure, still building my rig. Haven’t run it yet with the bigger motor yet...I will stop back here once I get a few miles on it. The 5mm mod1 gears for the 6s are working out well. No breakages, the price is pretty nice and they are well centered.

Can't drive it for another week or two, but just installed a 48t one. It's massive, will update on how it holds up unless somebody else does first.

True that... They're shipped liked that, would have gone for Saga pinions but they've been out of stock for multiple weeks now...

I call that a missed opportunity for SAGA.. Don't have it, I look elsewhere as do most people. I'm not loyal to anyone. He got a couple 2 tree hundred off me already. I guess there are a few of us now in this thread that will be the judge and jury!
