Typhon 8s batteries in a 6s. Simply done!

So I see this question quite often and here is the simple answer. To get 8s power in your typhon 6s with no chassis mods all you need are 2 Protek 4300 mah 4s batteries as pictured. Wire it up and boom you got 8s.

Set up pictured is castle 1717 1650kv, mamba monster x 8s, I run 27t pinion very easily and it’s crazy fast.

On one of the amain YT vids they showed the now discontinued version of those batteries used for the same esc/motor setup in a k6.
I might have to get me a few of these.

You just have to be careful with how much power you pull on smaller batteries.
Castle's specs advise over 5000 mAh for these high power ESCs. The XLX2 has been known to smoke smaller lipos. I smoked some high quality 2200 mAh packs with the MMX8s.
