Just put MT trenchers on my senton 3s and am attempting to install an adjustable motor mount with 18t pinion. Do I install the screws in the same location as they were with the 20t pinion as pictures?

Think I may have answered my own question. I’m guessing my pinion shouldn’t be too close but not too far from the spur gear? Gonna tighten everything down and give it a go. Hopefully I don’t cause any damage, we shall see.

Lot's of more savvy experts, but I think you are talking about Gear Mesh. Take a look online for guidance on how to get it to just the right spot, not too tight or too sloppy.

Here's a youtube from amain.

I got her all buttoned back up. I’d say I have the amount of play just about the same as what he showed on the video. Going to go give it a spin.
