Hey so I saw you and johnboy mention some cnhl batteries? What are these, they good or just cheap?
Cus I’d like to figure this out before I go burn up my Zee batteries to
Yeah, careful with the Zeees. My two 3s Zeees started off fine (all balanced when I first got em') but got messed up after only two runs. Each time WAY off-balance...and only balance charged. The right way. Didn't matter. They couldn't handle my rig. Tried to save the one pack, but no dice. Made popping sounds when I finally got it to balance after hours on end. Most the day. All that effort for nothing. On two 3s Lectron pros, it all thermaled still, but at least the batts survived. Again, the rig has no problems running two 4s batts. Idk 🤷! LHS dude is a mathematician like Holmes Hobbies dude. He did all the math on paper, showed me, spoke for like an hour about resistance etc. Said needs more volts. So, I did. No problem now.

They're good and fair priced. They always have a sale going on. They were half the price of my spektrum batteries and outperform them in every way possible

whats wrong with the stock motor and esc sounds like a lot of money spent on electronics you don't need to me. I would have got the m2c chassis if I was spending money on a brand new kit
For lower temps in the summer . The max6 g2 with an 18t will stay around 120 on both esc and motor . The stock stuff gets hot even with a 12t

Well they do seem great, definitely has a desirable amount of power. I just hate having to deal with the heat they generate tbh. I’ve lowered my gearing, lowered my motor timing to 0 and temps still get pretty high even after one pack. With dual fans as well. Idk why, I am extremely attentive to maintenance, constantly check bearings, lube them up with Cow RC moo-slick so I know it’s not that causing heat.
From what I’ve read the temps are just much better on those systems with the same amount of power basically (geared correctly).
So I suppose that’s why 👍

Oh and hell yes to m2c chassis, that is unquestionably next on the list to get. As mine is bent alrdy. I’ve got a backup I’ll end up using until I do get the m2c one
I am ok with the heat in the uk still need high speed fans on the motor in summer though
