Amber headlight effect

Does anyone have any guidance on how to achieve a transparent amber effect for headlights? I’ve been looking at this photo from Delta Plastics. Is it perhaps some sort of transparent film or something? Big TIA if anyone could kindly steer me in the right direction!

OK, never mind. I can’t believe I missed this in a prior search. Maybe my friend Tito had something to do with that.

Film is likely your best bet.
There are some translucent paints that could create this effect, but getting it to go on evenly is hard. In the end, it won't come out as nice a film....

My thoughts exactly. I only tried the lexan tint paint once and my results were “meh” at best.

I tried some translucent red paint for tail lights and was not thrilled with the result....
