Mojave Another diff, another build...

Not enough shim... too much shim... wrong shim... fml.
Getting good at popping these things together. Actually have a 4th build on standby since I can’t seem to keep my diffs from biffing up a tooth or two on the 43/10 spiral. Shim failure..

Not too mention my droop is all out of wack and the bones pop out....
so on to the new poop!

So far so good. Smooth. Gonna post vid of today’s breaking poop in. Today was the first run. Had the hot racing rear and haven’t had much diff problems in rear. Either have room for axle bearing shims so she’s tight.

I ran the 2.8 belted Trenchers on another car, I liked them. No ballooning

Damn I woulda preferred trenchers belted but in 3.8. Not sure if I’m feeling these small wheels. Lose top end on smaller wheels lol. Gonna get a few speed runs in today. Vids coming ;-)

I’ve the trenchers and badlands in 3.8. They balloon a lil too much for my kinda power. U want em? I’ll drop em in the mail w the clear body;-)

diffs seem to be holding up after Maybe 5 runs...
rocked the 28mx.. ehh. I’ll stick w the katar and 38’s for now....
felt a lot faster but on the smaller wheels who knows..

just posted these belted badlands in the classifieds. They’re up for grabs. I bought em 24hrs ago. They’re already off the rig and back in bags. Comes w both 12&17 hubs.
