Kraton Another Kraton XL build…

I started the project months ago but life has been crazy busy. I finally got around to finishing it up today. I bought a Mojave EXB chassis, braces and front drive shaft from Jenny‘s RC. I got Basher Queens shock towers and steering components. Kraton EXB turnbuckles. New fast eddy’s bearings. 3DRC wing mount. Typhon wing. Rebuilt all the diffs and used metal diff cases. Rebuilt the shocks and used 100cst oil. New front arms and reused the rears because I was drinking and forgot I had a new set haha. Power hobby motor fans. I’m sure I forgot a lot that I did. I’m not a fan of the short body. But it only had a few runs on it so I’ll upgrade later. Running a Max 6 and 4092 1650kv setup. Backflip lp’s…. Tomorrow will be it’s maiden voyage. I had to finish it so my son can use it at his RC competition at the 4H fair in a few weeks. He doesn’t know it yet, but he’s going to have an edge over his buddies haha..

Had to make shift something for now. I took a 30mm and 6mm standoffs and screwed them together with red loctite…it’s pretty solid. I want the proline ram body. Hopefully I can make it fit without the standoff’s

I sure will!!! They have drag races, freestyle, do laps and wheelie comps. My son has a brcc running 4s and it moves. 2 of his buddy’s got maxx’s so I made the brcc faster haha. Now the one kid has the sledge. My son is kinda worried about it. But, dads always got something up his sleeve haha my son knows if all else fails, send it!!! He knows most of the other kids will be afraid of our 4.5ft high 1/4 pipe we’re taking with us… who knows, dad may stick 8s in it for him haha

Lil man took 4th in the 1/10 scale races with his brcc out of 18 kids. He lost one of his races when a cvd popped out. He jumped my Kraton XL of our send it ramp about 30 times before he landed upside down and broke the carbon shock tower. He got 1st for the freestyle. 1st in the watermelon eating contest haha. I’ll have to post a video when I figure out how haha
