Any Hobao owners? Looking for recommendation

Looking to get back into nitro with a roller buggy or truggy. Bought a new LRP .32 about a year ago and she’s waiting on the shelf begging for a home.

Been doing the research and the latest buggy is the VS2. Seems like a very solid contender. Then there’s also the Hyper SS and Hyper 7 (which are older, but many swear by their endurance and quality still to this day). Would like to install a Torsen diff.

Which parts are interchangeable between models? Would love to hear from Hobao owners and their thoughts on this matter.

I’ve owned several nitro Hobao models, including the Hyper 7. They’re solid rigs, and that Hyper 7 handled like it was on rails. Good choice.

Jenny sells spares for one of the models but I cannot remember which. A chassis was going for $7!
You really can't go wrong if your not trying to race competitive with it, they're all very durable and good handling buggies.
