I am NOT a better expert and I have had a Spektrum battery 3S lose one side. One of the cells was bad....battery was bad nothing I could do to fix it. Spektrum did warranty it and sent a new one. The same happened to a GEn ACE and they sent me a replacement as well. If others agree, see if you can get a warranty replacement,

Chk balance lead wire and all pins visibly and with a meter/tester

If your cells are at 2.58volts it's trash.you ran it down to low.should never see under 3.30 volts per cell

I also usely charge at 1 amp or under unless I'm in a big hurry.5amp charge is fast,but hard on packs

On a 5000mAh pack charging at 1c is perfectly safe and does not damage the pack its only when you exceed 1c does it start to damage the cells. 1c is mah divided by 1000. So 5 amps is 1c for a 5000mAh lipo.
