I want to replace my Senton body with one that is long enough - I think the Senton chassis is longer than the Granite chassis. Would a 1/8th mountain truck body work? I think a big rock body would work but when looking at proline bodies how do you know which 1/10 MT bodies are the right length?

The best way I've found to do it is to look at length, width and wheelbase. Check online to see what the Senton is and then head over to ProLine and compare. A good start would be to check ProLine's short course bodies specs, I imagine. Thats what I did for my Big Rock Crew Cab. If you can get the wheelbase pretty close, length can be longer by a few mm and should look ok.
This is how I've done it but I'm no body painter. Others will have better suggestions or maybe even know already what will fit.

this body for instance and others will have the specs tab:

Your pretty much looking at 1/8 scale MT bodies with similar dimensions. You might have to get creative with the bumpers and widen it with longer a-arms or hex extenders if you really want a Monster truck to clear the body with bigger wheels. It's really not a Senton then you're turning it into a BRCC. Question should be asked what bodies fit the BRCC.

Tough to find that many options for sure. I looked until I was blue and ended up picking up a clear BRCC body for $30 shipped...for my brcc. There are some out there though with more modern styling. For brcc there's a member here that used a Ram body and did it up quite nice but can't find his post right away.

I didn't realize how many parts the two share so yeah, seems like a pretty easy conversion between the two. I may just go with a Kraton body and wing...

Im fairly sure you can put a big rock body on the senton. In the little research i have done the senton and big rock are same chassis and control arms but different tire sizes. You will need to remove the side bumpers and get the narrower body posts that are used on the big rock. I think i saw a you tube video on it not too long ago.
