Kraton Anyone running tp 4070cm 2200kv on 6s

Had to shave down the 4x mounting nubs a little on the outside of outcast wheelie to fit in the holes of the hr wing mount. Also ground down each end of one of the supplied cross brace tubes for the center area to fit. Came out nice.

I’m putting my 4070CM in my Kraton now too. I’m just waiting on the rear brace like you have. It’s not absolutely necessary, but I bash the hell outta mine.
What tires are those that you are running?

Nice video from what I have heard this motor is incredible! The plan is to get the motor mounted and drill a slot for adjustment and recess the hole slot for tappered screw like the rest. Should give support for the motor and stiffen chassis.

Tires are from nitrorcx. I like the flat profile; I am guessing they would be good in sand with the style pattern.

Oh yea, motor is kick sss...I have a handful of diff TP’s on my various rigs.

I’ll have to check out those tires(ima tire ho). STC’s have been some of my all time favs ;I just ordered 3 more set

What are you running for esc and battery voltage with the tp motors; I don’t plan on running higher than 6s?

I just got a graphene 6s 6000mah pack in yesterday. This is my first 6s single pack and it is massive!

Max5 running this battery...these turningy batteries are awesome. I use 1500mah versions of these in my race quads and they rip.

HD carbon fiber shock towers arrived today from Germany. The seller even threw in some rear arm guards. They are very nice and can’t wait to install them this weekend

You should seal them with CA. I also put epoxy on the highest points which tend to rub on stuff.

Yes, I plan to CA the edges of the parts this weekend

Plan is also to rebuild all 3x diffs with the hr aluminum diff cups and fill with 60/200/30k oil.

Put CA on the edges of the cf shock towers and installed.

Swapped out the Kraton battery tray with the outcast one and it was a straight install with no modifications required. The graphene 6s 6000mah brick fits perfect

So at the beginning of the build I swapped over to Tekno Orange springs front/rear. After test fitting the graphene battery last night I don’t think that the springs are going to be sufficient. I haven’t even test fitted the battery with the tp motor together yet and it is sagging... if I need to swap out shocks/springs it is not a problem, I can just throw them on daughters outcast.

I thought maybe adding reservoirs and even stiffer or possibly dual rate springs. Is there anything out there, because I haven’t seen anyone do his on a Kraton? anyone have any suggestions?

Rebuilt and shimmed all 3x diffs with 60/200/30k oil. Center has a little play front-back and is going to need some bearing shims.

Does anyone have a part number for the bearing shim on the left side of front and rear diffs? The one hanging in 5th pic below.

Have a killmode 6pack cap pack on the way and going to mount it in the open spot where the stock esc was originally located.

To make the center diff perfectly aligned with no play - It took 4x Tekno bearing shims in the rear and 3x in the front of the hr center diff mount bearing cup holders.

I have a 20t Robinson pinion mounted and marked up the template for drilling the rear motor support mount hole in the chassis tomorrow.
