I've bought one but yet to fit it, it's about £66 delivered in the UK and the M2C chassis is around £125 here so that makes the deal more attractive, and I don't have to dismantle everything to get the chassis fitted. I haven't heard anyone bending the bash bar yet...

Idk, to me it seems like a rescue mission, and not quite a general solution. I get it is a easy mod, for the soft chassis. Rather upgrade to the good chassis options mc2 or tmt-bodies, and keep good driveability of the truck, and weight. The bar ads 300g and the cost is a bit high. There is a lot of other lightweight options for strengthen the chassis, long skid plates, carbon top deck etc. Byt hey, it's nice to have the option :D

I bought the bash bar for the V5 . EXB . And 1/5 EXB. Does anyone know what the black plastic spacers are for? Pics if you have the would be awesome. But I’m thinking it has something to do with the EXB front bumpers? TIA

Shoot, don’t regret it at all!! If it keeps your truck straight and true….that’s all that matters!!! SEND IT
It’s heavy. It’s a PITA to remove every time you need to work on your rig. It makes using bumpers difficult. It puts more strain on diff bulkheads. If you want one, I have one for sale.

im just grabbing a scrap piece of aluminum from my shop and gonna make my own.. so much easier they paying and waiting for a chassis or there over priced bash bar... i do beleive it should work tho. twice as thick wont bend as easily.. sure it still might bend tho.. but not that easierly.. lol

For the price these guys charge for those bash bars you could seriously make 3 of them and all you need are normal hand tools.
