Well it's probably just me but when I saw the title "Anyone used Shoe Goo as protection?" I instantly thought " It could be used i suppose, but I don't think the MRS would like the mess"

Yep. When I got it, they had black or orange. I'm fine with the orange, makes it easier to see in my videos. I have 3 of their bodies at the moment. One on my 6S outcast, slash chassis stampede and ERBEv2 (using v1 mounts). All of them are orange.
