The more spacers you have, the stiffer the shocks are, which makes it better for jumping, but worse handling when riding track. I do a little of both so I use 1 big and 1 medium spacer in the front (per shock), and 2 big spacers in the rear (per shock). Are there adjustments that can be made to stock shocks. What do the adjustments or addition of spacers do to characteristics and handling of the vehicle.
The ground clearance maxes out pretty fast though. You add a couple to make it ride higher, then it just stiffens up the shocks too much.- The preload spacers influence the ride height (more spacer = more preload = more ground clearance)
- You can also change the springs if you want softer of firmer
- You can change the oil viscosity. Thicker oil will provide more damping and a slower rebound.
