Arrma and Durango

Hi guys,
Is Arrma and Durango the same company?
I have heard they are and parts are interchangeable is this true.

@Marc they are owned by the same company and many of the parts do interchange.

As I understand it, teams from both companies worked together designing the 1/8ths. So a lot of parts are interchangeable.
