Vorteks Arrma Fazon/TTX300 steering issue

Hi all. A friend was kind enough to give my kids a Arrma Fazon with a Tactic TTX300 controller. However, the problem I'm having is getting the car to steer. I've tried doing the setting in the controller where you hold in the trigger while turning the wheel clockwise and then having it turn on but it never blinks. It currently steers maybe a millimeter each way and that's it. I have to steer it using the trim and then it steers but it's not easy to steer the car that way and obviously not how it was intended to be driven. Anyone have any idea how to get this car to steer??

I think u might have a dead servo or the controller batteries are low!

If the servo was dead I don't think I'd be able to control it through the trim, correct?

Use the manual that @Cheez gave you as a gift. I bet you did not set the Steering dual rate. You need the manual to show you how. The TTX radio is a decent radio.

Ohhh ya the dual rate. That would also make sense why it wouldn't work!

Thanks everyone. Not sure what happened but I charged the batteries and it worked like it it was supposed to when I turned it on. Now to get the two Traxxas gas powered ones working.

I am guessing they are nitro, not gas ?
