Thanks for these. Are you printing PETG? Did you break the old ones or was it just for fun?
Any idea what material the stock spur gear is made out of?

I model it just for fun. Perhaps if the original one breaks, I can print a replacement quickly. And nylon and PETG is best solution, i think. I'll definitely be printing from PETG, it's much easier to print with than nylon. The stock one seems to be made of a harder material.

Stock composites are Nylon

Another model. I used a cover on a 40x40 fan, but small leaves and branches were getting caught in the fan. I decided to modify the cover and add a filter made of capron socks. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6607359

For mounting:
1) screw the fan cover to the model
2) put on a capron sock or stocking and pull it up to level the cover.
3) screw the cover on
4) cut off the excess with a knife or razor.

Hi, I'm new here but I just came across this post and I actually have the exact same set up in my gorgon. I'm running an SLT3 transmitter with a SR315 receiver and I have very inconsistent reverse, my sons gorgon has the stock SLT2 transmitter and and a SLR300 receiver and he's experiencing the same inconsistency. any idea how can I remedy this? also, has this happened to you at all? for example, sometimes, I have to press the reverse several times in order to make the thing go backwards, thanks on advance!

Hi! I think you can get more answers if you create a thread in the Gorgon section https://www.arrmaforum.com/forums/arrma-voltage-mega.55/?prefix_id=91.
I have personally changed the receiver and transmitter when converting to a motorless motor to a DUMBORC 6CH X6PM-350 2.4G 4.8-12V RC Mini Transmitter with X4FMG/X6FG/X6DCG/X6FP/BL3FG Gyro Receiver for RC Car Boat Tank Model. Its quite small and reciever has a gyro inside.

This is nice work and a really cool idea, I wonder if another version with reduced "grill" would let more air in? Maybe a thin "X" pattern?
