Granite Arrma granite 2 wheel drive

Hello everyone, I have an older granite the one before the 4x4 came out and I was wondering if there is there any metal gear transmission gears I could retrofit into the trans case so I can have a close to bulletproof drivetrain. Because the arrma metal gear and diff set has been discontinued for quite a while now. I'm asking because I keep blowing through the plastic gear sets like it's nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Your best bet is to buy a good used Raider XL BLX, or a Granite BLX, both came with the updated metal gears. Check out the for sale section, there is usually at least 1 for sale in there.

I was thinking about that, but also thinking of a way I could Frankenstein it with different parts. Traxxas and axial both have transmissions kind of similar to arrma. I still have the diff with internals and the input shaft gear. I just need the idler gear.
