Granite Arrma Granite blx grinding noise when trying to accelerate....

Good day all,

I'm new to the forum and coming back into the rc world since the 80's lol. I recently drove my Granite on the beach (great idea) and accidentally ran it into the water. Yay. I noticed after trying to run it, it made a grinding noise then just stopped moving. Since then, I've changed the spur gear which was eaten up, replaced the pinion gear, and some bearings which were rusted on the front and rear diff. I think I may have screwed something up with the slipper. It's basically full lock and I've tried loosening and the same whiny noise is heard. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Does the slipper is moving straight forward with the new spur + pinion?

Hi PL, the slipper appears to move straight forward. The car slightly jerks forward and backward about an inch but just makes the noise thereafter. I will try to upload a vid shortly.
