Granite Arrma granite issues

Hey guys I’m new to RC. I bought the arrma granite. It’s completely stock. I charged up the battery and put batteries in the controller. I turn the controller on then turn the car on. the wheels turn but the car won’t run for more than about 2 seconds. I’m not sure what’s going on.

Sounds like your batteries aren’t fully charged. Can you check the individual cell voltages?

The batteries were on the charger for the better part of 4 hrs

Your battery mode jumper on the esc is set to lipo it needs to be set for nimh when using a nimh batery.
