Just showing where the mounts come out. Any lower on the front and it hits the shock.

A few more minor moves amd some cosmetic work and I’ll be done with this…it’s been fun

In full size cars, weight doesn't have much effect in overall top speed infact it helps stabilize it if it's in the right spot (Center of gravity ahead of the center of drag), but makes a big difference in acceleration.

The largest part of power ends up pushing air out of the way. Less frontal area helps in top speed.

Again, that's fullsize cars, not sure how this scales down.

While the car is smaller in RC cars the air molecules are not scaling down... So nearly everything translates the same as 1:1
When riding motorcycles I could notice a massive difference at 140mph where the air resistance is ramping up. The same exists on these RC cars around 140+ speeds.

I agree.. 165 + on mine and if you arent tucked perfectly u can tell the bike is fighting to go faster.. So much air resistance at those speed aero's are required for max effect!!😳

Yep there seems to be different barriers. The bike would accelerate like a rocket and then the acceleration feels like 50% around 145mph then there is "another level" of resistance up around 160 where it is really crawling to gain extra mph. I can only imagine what it would be like at 190+

This graphic from airplanes does a good job of showing how the power required at various speeds ramps up at a point where more horsepower will not solve the issue of going faster. Aerodynamics is everything!

I don't the balls or skills to ride my bike anywhere near that fast.. lol

Any of my cages no problem, but not on my bike.

Its fairly simple actually🤪.. u just gotta find a good, clear, open, safe roadway.. run through 5 gears and at the 6th just twist your wrist till it stops, an hold it for as long as you like!! 🤫

any more updates?
Not really. Right now I have AJ from the forum doing a badass paint job as I have 2 bodies for this build, one I’ll keep unpainted. Anything that I’ve done to this lately is mostly cosmetic. See some photos below….

If you happen to have any questions, I’d be happy to answer.
