Start with room temp lipos, not cold.
Make sure all snow/water gets removed and dried before storage. Air compressor works well. If not, give it a few shakes upside down. Open receiver box to dry also.
A quick spray of wd40 around the metal or bearings will help prevent rust. I like the og stuff but the silicone version is what gets reccomended by most.
Plastic gets more brittle in the cold.

Let the RC get acquainted with the elements before running, less snow/ice will stick around especially in the wheels. Expect plastic arms/hinge pin blocks/end links to need replacement under freezing temps (y)

The lipo should be installed and used immediately from room temperature to maximize capacity and discharge punch. Enjoy :)

I hear some guys spray it down with some wd40 prior to going out supposedly it helps to keep the snow from sticking but I have never personally tried it.

Still debating..

Welcome @A-TOWN ARRMA KRATON . I can already tell you love this place as much as we do. I got a Kraton for Christmas, but I cant find the courage to run it yet. 13 degrees out. And I really hate the cold. 🔥 🤣 .

It's 32 above, warmed up from this morning. Still too cold for me. How cold is it at night? 👀 .

And I guess it will also act as a water repellent for the metal parts. 🤷‍♂️

I have 1 vehicle that I special built for bashing in the snow. It has all stainless hardware.
