Hi Guys

Thought I would share my attempt at fitting a Pro-line Jeep Wrangler Rubicon body on the Kraton 1/8 EXB. Just finished most of the paint work tonight but plan on doing some more refinements.
Please let me know what you guys think? How many RC Car rules have I broken here?

Now that your EXB is Jeep-themed, you have to make sure NEVER to take it off road, just like full-scale. You are allowed to bolt tough-looking parts on, and you are allowed unlimited show time in parking lots.

Love it! I do think that this setup will do much better than the real thing though😉

Yea fair point. But looking at the standard Kraton body I think its roughly the same in terms of the wheelbase...

I guess I'm the only one that doesn't like it. It is too short. The wheelbase looks funny. Just my opinion, though. As long as you like it is all that matters.
Just makes me think of those stretched hill climb trucks. I like it.

But of course - I can't stand the look of the stock Kraton body. Performance of the Kraton I understand is awesome - but I think it is a really ugly truck.
Too bad these are always sold out - I think it would make it look perfect!

At first, I thought the Kraton body looked too much like a new Chebby, the kind that azzholes drive. But it has really grown on me, and I like its sleek low profile. The great thing about the hobby is you can do whatever tickles your pooter. I may not be fond of Jeeps, either, but your paint job is tops and I like the fit. It looks like a stretched rig, which is proper for a comp truck.

I hear ya ,lol

I love it. Does the roll cage still fit under the shell?
Thanks. It does fit yes. There is a small space between the roll cage and the body though, not more than 1cm. If I can figure out a way to lower the body mounts I may be able to fix that. Otherwise I was thinking to add some of that sponge tape to the inside of the body’s roof
