Hey guys I’m having issues mounting my
Esc to the my kraton exb. Seems that the roll bar gets in the way of connecting the motor to esc when using the mount that it comes with. I feel like moving it and just using double sided tape won’t hold up well. Any suggestions ? Pictures would be great

Yes, pictures would be great.. so we can see what your working with. You really shouldn’t have any issues with something as small as a max8. People have been fitting the max6 in there no issues. So let’s see what you got going on. 🤔

Turn it 90 degrees. Have the power wires toward the front and the motor wires toward the rear.

I ran into the same problem with mine, I ended up drilling new holes (using a 2mm drill bit) in the mounting plate to allow the esc to fit without anything hitting it and still allowing the motor leads to reach it. The screws go in solid and have held the esc in place without any tape

Same issue...

But wires are too short to turn it.
And it hits the servo mount, might be just the easiest option to shave a few mm off of the server mount, then the ESC can move and line up with the mounting holes.
As you can see

I used gorilla 2 way tape and haven’t had any issues with it coming off or loose! You can zoom in to see positioning!

found a better solution.
Removed the standard plate and drilled holes to screw the MAX8 to.

Had to remove the ridge of course, then was able to move the ESC around into a position that worked well for the motor cables to.
