Yes, the spoiler and back end is one piece and snaps off. I used black marker on the body post, and set the mcqueen body on it and drilled the holes on the black marks

Ok, so now that there's a couple of you using it, how's this hard shell body holding up? Also, are the body mounts and brackets taking any unnecessary abuse from the rigidity of the hard body? If everything is going well after a few tumbles and spills, you could be on to something here.

The marker trick checks out as well. I used a black sharpie and colored the mounting post. It left a mark exactly where you need to drill the holes.

Hi All - I just got a Kraton (OMFG it's fun!). I was going back and forth between a Talion and a Kraton, mostly because I wanted the Kraton's better bashing abilities but much preferred the look of the Talion. Then it occurred to me that I could just change the body...

I've found three that I like the look of. The first is a 'safe option' from Pro-Line, in that it's pre-cut, already coloured and designed for the Kraton: https://www.prolineracing.com/bodies/pre-cut-brute-bash-armor-white-body-kraton.asp

The other two are from a Russian supplier on eBay:

One says it fits the Kraton, and it seems possible that the other can be made to fit with some work. Has anyone else tried one of their bodies? They're only on eBay and called ProBodyRC (https://www.ebay.com/sch/probodyrc/m.html).

The Militia body is my favourite, but I can't work out how they did the row of 6 lights...

The unbreakable body came in yesterday. Not bad 20 days shipping from Russia. Not sure how to “dress it up” , still need to cut it out and fit. We will have to wait and see.

Mine (the militia body) hasn't arrived yet - I'm going to send it to @MacsCDP so he can make some decals. The other thing I'm planning is cutting out the windows and replacing them with plastic mesh, as in this picture:

Yea plan on doing the same to the windows. Not sure on decals yet. Maybe engrave designs a bit in the body and some sort of paint in side those. Don’t know yet. The body arrived way too fast, not that I’m complaining though. Good luck on your end and please share your success
