Whoa whoa whoa, can’t post something that sounds so beautiful without pics man :) looks like a solid build! Nice work. Can’t wait to see it.

HW Max6 install and rebuild!

Stripped the entire rig down for a clean. All has been re-greased, re-shimmed, refilled and retuned. Just waiting on some tin/lead solder lost in the post for the ESC leads ?

Out with the old and in with the new

Had to cut out a notch in the side guard for the 4985 motor to fit

Can anyone recommend a new body I can paint up? I'd like a similar thickness and toughness as the stock one if possible

Does anybody else take over the dining room table when it comes to wrenching on RCs? ?

That’s more like it ??. Very nice ride. You looking for another arrma body? Or something different?

Thanks buddy! Yes I'm thinking of painting one up. I've checked out a few Pro-Line clear truck bodies but I've heard mixed reviews. Have you had any experience with them? Do you know if they're as thick and tough as the Arrma ones?

To be honest with you, in my experience there is no thicker tougher body than the arrma bodies. The aftermarket ones seem to be thinner and not as tough. (Unless you go with the unbreakable ones). You could always get a clear outcast or notorious body and it will be as thick as your stock one. But clear so you can make it your own.

Awesome... I think I will actually. I love the Notorious body so I could just grab another. I'm thinking metallic silver with red trim and some matte black details. Thanks for the suggestion brother ?

I was just looking through your pics... and it looks like you had to do the same thing as me with that hobby wing heat sink... spread the crap out of it and then only 2 screws fit ??

Another Sweet build you gotta love this forum some really nice work goes on from bashing to blast here :)

I'd love to say it's all done and reveal the finished product!!

Only half way through the first coat the brand new spray can went kaput ? packed it all away and now I'm left waiting for another ?

Fell at the first hurdle ? and the masking took ages!!!

Are you going to try and mimick the "real steel" shell?
