So my 6s Notorious has been through a lot, "4 years of abuse" and currently is updated to all exb stuff, its held up very well and is one of my fav RCs right behind my beefy built X-Maxx. I figure its time for a rebuild and upgrade as its been really good to me and I think it deserves it. Things I will be doing in this thread. I have already purchased everything for the build so it should come together pretty quickly.

-De-anodizing everything that's left after the upgrades, and polishing it to silver
-CF Chassis
-Aluminum Gearboxes
-CF towers, Ackerman, and a few other small CF bits
-New Body Shell
-Deep cleaning and all new bearing kit
-Update to the v4 center brace
-Restoring all plastics to like new condition

I will update this thread as parts come in and are equipped.

Did the bulkheads rub on the chassis or is that some sort of sealant?

I think the CF, especially the towers, is a bit of a bold move for a high flying stunt truck. But I’ve never really developed my in-air control very much and specialize in mostly horrible landings. I’m pretty sure I’d be snapping expensive carbon towers rather frequently. Looking forward to watching your build!

They are pretty cheap now days for $50 you get whats below. I have seen them used at paddlesworth long jump competitions so they have def been tested lol. The chassis also has been tested a lot and seems good. But as with all things time will tell haha!!!

Thats 4 years of wear lolol
She definitely needed a deep cleaning!
Desperately haha

You can get the basher-queen 6 piece set for $70, but I've bought from this guy "link below" before and his CF is top notch so i went the $50 route for the 6 piece set.

My felony 6 piece set was only $35.99 though him

Notorious Current status lol.... I know it doesn't look like much but its progress... When it comes together it will be quick. I don't mess around on builds... I build 700 Helicopters in a day if I have all the parts lololol....

This is not a high flying truck.... This is a low flying stunt truck for me. If I want to go to the moon I'll use my heavily built X-Maxx. This "below" is what I do with my Notorious so the Carbon Parts will be perfect.... I have thought deeply about this build and went in a very specific direction to fit my needs.

As you can see I abuse my notorious in a "as stated earlier" very specific way. I turn it into a helicopter and melt rims off the hub. Even down to my custom wing mount that i can literally slide on upside down like no one else and 100% never break the wing mount hahaha. Everyone bashes differently lololol.

Also I removed the black coating from all the driveshafts/bones... Left one black to take a pic for comparison.

Yeah I can see why your standard diffs are exploding lol touch wood I haven't had a diff issue since I stopped self righting the thing. Even if it's a long way away I'd rather do the walk of shame than the diff rebuild of shame
With exb diffs you can do whatever u want for the same cost as the stockers. When ur stock diffs go its a no brainer. Swear to god no walk of shame ever again and no diff rebuild of shame lol.

Re-conditioning the plastics then time for main assembly... Still waiting on a few parts but imma toss it together anyway for now.

Gonna have to rip her down next week when the last of the parts come in. But for now she will have some fun this weekend. I do know there are a couple red bits left lol, those will be taken care of with the next batch of parts :)

This was a fun build, and as stated earlier the Arrma Notorious has earned my respect, It has gone down in my history books as one of my most fun RC's, and was worthy of a custom build to meet my needs!!

Built.... Videoed... Edited... All in quick succession... Enjoy!!
