Arrma RC's
  1. Outcast 4s
Being a new member I thought I would start a build thread to show and get help along the way.
So far my Outcast is pretty much stock other than,
☆ New AVID bearings , front to back
☆ HOT RACING steering bellcrank and servo saver and servo mount
☆ POWER HD 20mg servo
☆ Spare front and rears arms, and outdrives
☆ 4 new shocks replaced under warrentry
I did some other upgrades,
The front bumper modification, added a old bumper to increase the length of the bumper and some new body eye candy.
I have a small You Tube channel that has more detailed info on my builds if anyone wants further info.
The channel name is >> Rob Dingledorf
The RC seems pretty solid now and is a blast to drive.
Future plans include to replace the radio. Its pretty janky.
I'm always open for comments and suggestions from everybody and will be updating my build as time goes on.

Welcome to the Arrma Fam Rob! I will check out your channel and subb

Welcome, see you have to replace them leaky shocks! Lol
Good luck with the build. (y)

Thanks guys.
Yeah, I called Horizon Hobby and the rep sent them that day. Was sorta impressed, other than I don't think these will seal either. Oh well, I did get more shock fluid and some Green Slime and a rebuild kit.
The shocks do work well with this platform, so I'll rebuild, rotate for now.

Decided to tinker on the old leaky ones. Got lots of spare seals from other RC's,,, so it cobble time. Nothing to lose, hell, maybe I'll even fix them.
Get the alluminum pivot balls because im pretty sure your stock ones will make your steering unresponsive and floppy
Thats like the best upgrade for handling

Enjoying a lazy Sunday so I installed the Hot Racing steering bellcrank.
Decided to wait on the new servo and Hot Racing servo saver and servo mount till I need them.
Took the RC out for alittle trigger time and really feel I can tell the difference. Alot smoother.
I dug thru my other RC parts hoping I would find some metal pivot balls. Did find some but there not going to work, so finishing up a list of parts to order including new aluminum pivot balls.
Any other input on "must haves" is always welcome.

Is the hot racing servo saver worth it? I hate those plastic spacers

Going to find out when the OE servo gives out. At that point I'll drop the new servo, mount and saver in.
Headed for a week of camping in 6 days, and maybe I will doin the swap then.
Saw mixed reviews on the HR servo savor online, but its seems the bad reviews were user install error for the most part.
