Here are some pics with my first finished front airfoil/wing. I’m sure this will evolve but happy to have a working print done and ready to test.

It may be a while before I get clean roads. We have a few inches of snow and ice everywhere. It’s gonna warm up but rain next week.

3D print a plow for the front. Should do the trick, but you might have to change the tires?

I thought of doing one for the Kraton 4s ? I live in condos and they plow for us, but the guy waits until the middle of the night to plow. I could beat him to it next snowfall ??

So I gave up on the stock body with open wheel design. I’m going with a GT body instead. Needed to drop the body height and had to chop off the stock towers to do so. Had to design and print my own towers, install Limitless shocks, and use alternate body posts.

Ok time to update this thread a little. I’ve since scrapped the idea of using the Typhon body and wing. Bought a Delta Plastiks Jag body in 4mm thickness, which I don’t recommend. It is way too thick and super hard to trim. That said, I own it now so I’m gonna run it.

Issue with this body is the Typhon shock towers are too high. I had to cut the stock towers off and 3D print my own, which has gone thru a lot of revisions to both lower the chassis and help with aero. Here is the height I am going to run.

I am running Limitless shocks, both front and rear. Here is a shot of the rear, where I also designed a shelf for my SkyRC GPS.

I just printed what I hope is my final for the front. This last version added a front splitter that reduces the airflow under the body.

Next step will be side skirts to close off the large gaps on the sides. At this point, I don’t intend on putting batteries in these side trays, but I could run parallel packs down the road and these would be a fine spot for them.

These trays will take a day and a half to print. The front tower just took a day and 11 hours. ?

Looks killer!
That body is so rigid that this may not matter but some add a body support on the sides or many times it is easiest to use a piece of tape...
Seems like many builds are going 3D printed lately. (I like it!)

explain to me how yall are attaching the dual fans to the typhon 3s motor heat sink????????not seeing a mount like the one for the rustler vxl 4x4 that clamps to heat sink fins

You will only get two screws in the second fan with the stock heatsink.

I think the stock heat sink has to be taken out and replaced with one like the Yeah Racing heat sink that wraps around entire motor..at least it did on the 6s motors video I watched...idk really...oh well....new TBone bumber on front with Hoon tires and 26tooth pinion......keep up....suckers fast?
