Vendetta Arrma Vendetta 4x4 3s BLX (a beginners speed car?)

I converted mine to 17mm hubs and use bsr foams
Plan to break 150 and 160 this spring.
Other then electronics I’ve done some homemade carbon aero, homemade spool, metal diff gears and the typhon 17mm hubs.

I'm putting one together,1st 1 I used plastic gear ,,got 15ish 6s runs then stripped it today.u running mmmx8s an 40mm tp??

I did have to do the metal input and crown front and rear diff gears. I started with a 36t spur and now have 34t.
It is a 4050cm motor and mmx8s with cap pack.
Single 6s pack.
The car has about 40-45 runs on it, but above 135 or so it was really going airborne almost every time. I’d say I had about 4 clean 140-145 runs and about 6 where the car just went flying into the air. I made a lot of changes to the suspension now but can’t test until spring time

Even close to the 400amp x8s max on those 140+passes??

Yes they vary, my 143 run pulled 370amps, 145 pulled 397amps,
Also had a couple 140,141 and a 144 run that pulled lower 360amps but all in the upper 300

I bought a bunch of slipper stuff yesterday and a few different TRX plastic spurs. Gonna build a few in plastic first and start running in the spring on 4s. I tested in the Vendetta recently with a BLX 2050 and a 0.8 mod 31t pinion and 38t spur that I had built for my Granite. This was just to see how my build was lined up. Now the fun begins building up a few different spools that I can mix around in my Granite, 3s Typhon and the Vendetta. We need to get Omar on the forum too. So much good knowledge to be shared.

He just did a 135 mph pass in the Granite and then had it get run over by a minivan. Talk about a sh!tty ending to a great run.

I would guess that this would be the case. You know that a BLX Infraction is coming though.

I think that Arrma is pulling a Glock here. Glock does this all the time. They release a model (X) that is close to what everyone wants. Everyone complains that they should have made (Y) instead, but they still purchase (X). When Glock releases (Y) the following year, everyone buys that too. Had X and Y been available at the same time, nobody would have bought X. Maybe Arrma is afraid that a BLX Infraction would cannibalize sales of the Vendetta.
