I have a arrma vendetta on the way. I have a castle mamba x and 1512 2650kv motor. I want to know if I can use this in the vendetta? And if so what pinion size to go with

If you're running 4s on the Mamba X/2650kv combo, you need to do 22 tooth pinion to basically match stock electronics wheel speed on 3s. If you're running 3s on the Mamba x/2650kv, you need to run 29 tooth pinion to match the stock 4000kv motor's wheel speed. I was just looking at this today because of the Tower Hobbies castle sale.
Here's the calculator I was using to determine that. This website has tons of nice calculators for various R/C needs.

I'd be satisfied with that. And would a 1515 v2 2200kv be better with the matching mamba x esc. But still running 6s

Which mamba x you have??smaller metal one or the mmx6s plastic one???.
The 1/8 x will handle 2650kv fine the 1/10 x may struggle with 2650kv

I'd convert to mod1 an swap slipper to spool..

Thanks now with a spool setup I can get higher speeds and bash?. I want to not worry about cutting out with the stock spectrum stuff. If that's the case I'd go that route.

With HR spool ya can go as tall as about 29/34 before modifying the power module for more clearance...for good 4s speed you'll want about 2650kv...tp power motors are also a great option an cheaper...

There's a big difference between the castle setup vs stock firma setup..this gearing will kill stock setup..is it getting the castle Or the firma???

I’d definitely go 1/8 Monster X over 1/10 Mamba X.

Hell with it,,go with biggest system possible..no heat issues power to go fast an long as ya want.lol...castle escz are a I need more type of thing.ive tried more combos than 1 would ever believe.mm2,mmx6s,mmx8s an now I run xlx2 in detta not because it's the biggest,but because I've maxed out every other esc in vendetta.i now need the xlx2 in all my cars to progress in1 speedrunning.ive currently got ridiculous setup in it an it should keep me speed needs good for a minute..can't really fit a bigger setup in it than I'm currently running.imo the mm2 is 3rd best esc castle makes an imo much more powerful than the mmx6s I've got..
