Omg I put the batteries in the remote then I put a 6S battery in the car fit perfectly. I set up the throttle brake reverse on the ESC. And then took it for a rip drove around couldn’t believe how fast it was then I realized I was still on 50% power lol it’s a rocket ship it wouldn’t even keep traction at 100% lol . I’m Definitely gunna have some serious fun with this one. I’m going to read the book it came with and ill keep y’all posted

Ok I’m thinking of definitely doing the wider hubs and axle from like the k6s, or k6exb, does anyone know what parts are needed? I’m pretty sure it’s the front and rear hubs from Jenny’s, but the axles seem very pricey in comparison $19.99 for front cvd, and same for rear regular ones, and I think the hex’s are needed too?

So I have a k6exb so I got this stuff to do the hub widening from Jenny’s rc, so I have the extra drive shafts for the future, and the bearings are nicer

Now to decide which tires to try.. I like the 2.8 PL rancher LP’s, any ideas?

So I got some stuff ordered. I got some grp drag tires and the adapters to run the tires on there square.75” hubs. Should be cool for drag racing or I’m an idiot. But I took my que’s from real life drag racing tire setups. And wanted to be creative and experiment with it and maybe be a little original. But I’m sure it’s all been tried before
Got the hubs from just bash it rc, if they don’t work out on the typhon experiment I can use them on my future k6exb projects

Don't believe those Proline's will work for you. You need 17mm hex's. Try something like the buggy Badlands that have a 17mm hex. As for the GRP's, I believe those have 17mm hexes already. So, no need for the adapters unless I am mistaken. You may need those for the 1/5 GRP's, but not the 1/8's.

Ok put a set of hoons on the new typhon while waiting for parts, so I could get a few street runs in. Top speed on 6s w/ Stock 16t pinion, with 100mm hoons: 56mph, 0 to 40mph: 1.75sec, 0 to 188’: 3.7 @ 54mph. Working on a video setup for my runs soon, it’s hard with just my phone lol I’m learning slooowly..

I have a short video of my first run on the street with ty new typhon 6s v5, I got the 56mph run on one run not sure when, I’m new to trying to video stuff and it will take me a while to get it right but here’s a couple runs on a road I found, and it’s really smooth even though it doesn’t look it, and I put a set of hoons as I mentioned before on it for the road

Ok so I got mostly everything that’s going into the new typhon 6s for now! Here’s the line up

now I’m working on the color scheme here’s my colors and I will be using black, silver, white, and maybe some more. But I’ll be choosing between the blue’s for the main color. Let me know what y’all like.
