Heard it from the grapevine

The new Arrma ESC 185 will be out in a couple of months
(What exactly is a couple of months)
doesn't know lol
Darnit i think i should just order it now and yank out that darn electronics
So no more problem to think about
What do ya guys think?

Like i said, I would wait with the order... look: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFWSA they say it is available late march, this means 1 more month...its nothing. I also think that with the release of the 185 Blx esc there will appear new models but we have to see...

Greets ;)

Man thats my biggest problem
Im very impatient
Blame it on my add :D

i emailed arrma
May be they can use arrmageddon as one of their upcoming rc bashers hahahahha

They like the name he said hell pass it on :D

I can understand you very good, Im also the impatient type of guy that wants to have everything he likes immediately :D but we have to learn that in most cases it is better to wait and think about :)

EDIT: Going to sleep bye :) gn8

Thing is with the new esc will it still have a problem like the 180
We don't know for sure
But since the esc180 is already discontinued
I figure if you send in the esc180 they will replace it with the 185 esc?
Plus im planning on using hobbywing esc seems like a good esc nobody having any problem with those esc

This suck
I was going to order my talion at tower hobbies
They can only shipped it to me in hawaii
2 days 133.00
1 day 201.00
Wtf man
No priority mail due to its size and usps didnt want it?
133 thats a lot for shipping
Dsrnit

Not for a while i have the old 180 blx esc i will try to send it back and ask for the newer esc without even trying it
Hopefully they will allow it if not i will get the hobbywing motor combo

All this talk of a new ESC. Mine didn't work right after a couple runs but my add could not wait till it was replaced so I got the mm\2200kv combo from castle. What an improvement. So glad I did. Much longer powerband and throttle control in the air even on 4s. On 4s its almost the same feel as stock on 6s except for top speed. I have a good radio and will replace the servo also. I should have just got a truggy kit if I'm going to replace everything but the talion was good enough to get me started in 1\8 scale, it's still probably the best rtr I've seen or bought. The new wing mounts don't break for me, now I'm breaking diff cases.

How do you break the diff case?
If its breaking theres gotta be something wrong
Not propey shimmed maybe?
I will not be running it untill i take apart everything on this rig
If its an rtr but ill take it all apart before i run them
I don't trust those builders

Man i also like that mamba monster x but its so damn hard for me to program that thing
I wish they would make it easy like the hobbywing

Max8combo_EZ4274SL_large.jpg

This will be the combo im gonna get for this
Should be good right waterproofed?

This is a bit harder
Everytime i put on the glue the tape moved again lol
Its to thick this glue
Need something a bit more smoother ill try and use other glue tomorrow

r82Wy_WM2ys

Next is servo
Anyone can reccomend a good servo for this talion?
6v or 7.4 would be good
Since i can change it from 6v to 7.4v
Something that will fit inside the aluminum servo case

So far with this talion

538.73==arrma talion
$215.00== esc motor combo upgrade
$115.00== battery charger
$85.76===lipo battery
------------------total so far
$954.49

I didnt even Upgrade the steering servo and remote yet
By then ill be over 1400?

Awwwready then finally parts came in
And bearings
I finally can take apart this talion
And make sure everything is properly build
Im going to throw away those stock bearings
Changed the wing mount
And properly shimmed those driveshafts:D
Ill work on it monday
