Im re oiling?
Or topping off my diffs and shimmed properly
Am i using the righ oil for my diffs
Lol its so sticky im using 200k for the mids front is 80k back is 60k
Is that how supposed to be really sticky
No binding it turns fine but its sticky lol

Ok put it bacck all together now its a bit harder to turn it now
Like like a while ago
Is that how it supposed to feel

Hi

With that thick of an oil, YA that's how it's supposed to feel.

Hi

Nope, your suppose to fill them to about 2/3 to 3/4 full, so you would still have air in there no matter what. The only reason to get the air bubbles out is to make sure that you put enough lube in the diff and not too little.

Cool thanks man
I made sure i had enough diffs fluids in there

Ill continue working at it again tomorrow

So much screws to removed just by changing all of my besrings lol
More work to be done

Anybody wants to make me those pins for my diffs
I need a steel pins for those
I have heard those are breaking
And messes up the diffs gears
Ill pay for it ofcourse

And still waiting for tbone to ship my bumpers front and back
Might then be able to get led lights for this talion

Hi

What pins are you talking about, I thought the pins in the diff were steel.

I have heard those pins are breaking and messing up the gears
Has anyone ever break their pins on their krtons or talions differentials

Hi

Here's your problem the pins are 2.25mm, most RC's in the 1/8th scale class are using at least 2.5mm to 3mm pin's. The only solutions are to either find some 2.25mm high tensile strength rod and use a dermal to cut pieces to the right length, or go and find a drill bit that fits nice and tight and cut the smooth part of the drill bit into pieces that will work. There is another option, "but I am pretty sure you don't wont to do it" and that is to find another diff assembly from another company that will work in place of the stock one. Luckily the differential bearings outer diameter is 16mm which is a standard size for diffs bearings.

Thanks man ill take apart my ofna nitro buggy
Sitting under the wather for ove 10 years now i think
Ill try and use that one hopefully it'll fit and its the right size
But i found someone to make me those pins :D

For which model did you buy De racing mud guards? I do not see it listed for our trucks or DEX8t
Thanx !
