ATX300 and non-Arrma steering servo

So I recently stripped the stock steering servo on my Mojave Mega. By now I have two replacement servos, the PowerHD 1501MG and the Trackstar TS411MG. Unfortunately they both show the same behaviour: slow responsiveness to steering input. Other than that I also noticed that the LED on the Rx now blinks while it burns continuously with the stock servo. It seems I need a BEC, but I have no clue as to what to look for...

Any hints, tips, ...?

Hi Harrodin,

I'm not sure what the input voltage for those servos is but on Hobbyking's site there are lots of different BEC's, like this one,

That one is a 7.2v BEC but if your servo can't handle that voltage there are others that will do 6v or 5v too. If you go to your LHS they should also be able to help you out as it's not a rare problem.
