I was in the hobby when the Hornet and the Grasshopper was in the 80's but I just got back in to the Radio Control hobby about 4 years ago. Ones I bought my DJI Mavic Pro and start taking Aerial videography i wanted an ARRMA & a ProBoat RC Speed boat...

Incredible Hulk, Dukes of Hazard and Saturday morning cartoons eating Captain Crunch.

Commodore 64, VCRs and Atari ruled the house, and if it wasn’t raining out side that’s where we were or out riding bicycles making sketchy ramps and drinking water straight from the hose spigot

Im right there with you two. Im 43.
Im just a big kid. Not only am i playing with my rc cars l ended up turning my living room into a hometheater(ish) room with a 7.4.4 audio setup. Got back into photography. Also been building freestyle/ racing drones, and flying rc planes. Only issue is that l don't ever seem to have enough time to play as much as l want. Darn adult responsibilities keep getting in the way but its that that pays for all the toys

So, half of us are 80s kids that had Grasshoppers, Hornets, and RC10s, and now we’re back with even cooler stuff in our 40s. Awesome.
