Arrma RC's
i love my ARRMA TRUCKS. But recently parts support has been terrible. For the last two years it's been good, but in the last 2 months supply has been bad. I had three diffs ordered and took three weeks, my outcast a-arms have been on order for a month and my Kraton parts have been order for over a month. Very frustrating. Anyone know what's going on? I know the Chinese New Year presents a challenge every year buy its long been over.

I've contacted Great Planes/ Hobbico and asked them about the parts problem. Their response?........"ask Arrma, we are just customer support and don't handle the parts"

Disappointed to say the least. The only reason I will continue buying Arrma trucks is because they are so good, durable and fun. The is a great opportunity for RPM. They should be jumping all over this problem and cashing in.

There was word that they were switching factories/suppliers in China. Due to that they had a parts deficit of a couple months. I'm getting daily notifications from Tower about parts availability so I think the crisis is over. The problem now is that every shipment that comes in will be grabbed up quickly by everyone that's been waiting.

If you're really jammed up, get on eBay and buy from one of the resellers that break down complete rigs and sell the parts. It's actually cheaper and you can get almost anything any time.

How do we find said people? Just asking for my own curiosity. I've searched parts on eBay and haven't really found parts so much as the whole rc.

Also check with Jennys RC site they chop up new vehicles, remember lots of parts are interchangeable with other vehicles. They have some Talion stock right now. Full diff assembly is about $30, much cheaper than buying parts.

I a outcast a bigrock a kraton a talion and a typhon by any chance has anyone heard of arrma putting out anything new???

EBay is usually a good source. Just as this post was getting warmed up their appeared a seller with some shock rod ends. They were sold out almost immediately. I got 2 packs of them. You have to stay frosty on eBay to get the hard to find parts. I could have just as easily missed the shock rod ends. The shock shafts are a different story. It's like they don't exist.......take it easy out there. If you break or bend a shock shaft......you're toast.

The kraton makes a very nice paper weight with a broken shock shaft. Lol :p

Yeah I know the feeling. Being a trucker with a broken out drive sucks too. I won't be home till the 22nd
