  1. Kraton EXB
Hi, are the ball bearings on the EXB the same as the BLX version, ive had my exb 6s for nearly a couple of years now and the bearings are starting to make a crunchy noise so its now time to swap😁

Yes and no. The EXB have better quality bearings than the BLX, but they are all the same measurements and are in the same places, so they're interchangeable. Fast Eddy's or Jim's Bearings will have a kit that's better quality than the EXB bearings.

A quick look at the manual shows all the bearing part numbers to be the same. Previous versions of the BLX had metal shielded bearings, which are inferior to rubber sealed bearings on off-road vehicles, but since V5 they are exactly the same.

I have a couple Fast Eddy kits and they're indistinguishable from the stock bearings and last about the same (not very long if you run in dirt, stock up on several kits). Almost certain they're the same ABEC-5 chrome steel from China as the stock ones, just with a much lower per unit retail price. Jim's bearings are probably the same as well. Like someone said in a recent thread, as with LiPo batteries there are only a handful of bearing OEMs in China that all make similar products and supply the various companies that re-brand them for retail sale.
