So as I mentioned earlier in my post shocks were the next thing on the list, my intensions were to keep this Talion completely stock with fluids etc but I ran into an issue with the build I decided to go with..!!
I chose the M2C shock caps as I wanted emulsion shocks as I find them so much nicer handlingbut there is an issue when using the stock 2000cst Arrma spec oil.
I believe they were designed and tested with only 1000cst oil ( I blame you Rich and Eric
Long story short and after a bit of drop testing I settled on 1300cst oil, they are still nice and plush and also have good rebound.

EXB shock ends and spring platforms all awaiting assembly, the obligatory green slime for shock shafts and o-rings..

Kingmax servo, same as the one in my Kraton EXB
Shocks are fitted with the M2C delrin bushes at the tower end, I'm using the stock EXB front hinge pin mount so I can use the Arrma EXB bumper but as I mentioned before, I stripped the holes out and had to use bigger bolts. I'm not a fan of how Arrma mount their bumper at the front hinge pin holder..!!
Come on Mitch or CRCU you guys need to make that front hinge pin block for the EXB lineup..!!

I think I did pretty well with the fit and finish on the chassis tab mods
( using titanium droop screws, I believe I linked them in one of my previous builds )

Broke the wing mount after about 2 minutes of running, time to get the @3d-rc.myshopify.com wing mounts into action..!!
Also blew two tyres off the rims, one came unglued and the other ripped off
Let's hope this wing mount lasts longer..!! Not sure if I should add a wheelie bar from an Outcast ??
I've also come to the conclusion that the MMX8s 1717 combo is too much for the Talion, it makes it too heavy and spoils the handling so I've ordered another power system for it..
Was going to get the new HobbyWing Max8 G2 system but decided against it for now as that too is quite heavy, ya'll have to wait and see what I do next

So here we are again 
I decided my Talion was too fat and heavy and it was ruining the handling..!! ( Here's looking at all you guys running 8s and other crazy setups.!! )
Changed a few of the smaller parts to better versions of what Arrma supply and fit to the car from the factory.
What is it they say, out with the old and in with the new.!!
Corally sway bar balls, direct fit into Arrma drop links, bag of 1.5mm grubs and aluminium sway bar retainers..
Needed to lose some weight.!!
So, I've done me some research and I've gone an purchased the lightest most powerful setup I could find ( waited nearly 4 weeks for the esc to arrive, motor arrived in 4 days.!! )
Time for an engine swap, taking out the 8.1L v8 and fitting a 1.6 Turbo..!!
Full reveal in the next post..

So the Talion is now 259g or just over 1/2lb lighter than before..!! and that's including the few extra metal upgrades too..!!
I'm really happy with the weight saving, even when you pick the car up it feels so much lighter.
First test run will be this weekend ( weather permitting )
