I actually keep my rather tired lipos that still balance well. For my Leaf blower. 
The blower never ran as strong before. Im using a tired old Gens 6s brick.like 15 minute blower run time. Sucker gets hot. The lipo is going to Grenade. I know it. I only charge it inside my Barbeque outside. It's always outside the house now. I handle it with thick leather gloves ready to chuck it. Been there, Once you get 3 seconds of that Pop pop sound, then they ignite. Better be far from it. 15 ft min. Crap will fly 30 feet away. Goggles or glasses if you are close.
